Glen Moreno has a vast wealth of experience spanning over 30 years of international senior leadership experience from working as a CEO and Chair of FTSE 100 companies. This deep pool of experience has allowed Glen to acquire a multi-industry knowledge in financial services, publishing, media.
Glen Moreno is Non-Executive Director of Fidelity International Ltd, one of the world’s leading investment companies. He was previously Chair of Pearson plc, a global publishing and educational business, Chair of Virgin Money plc and served as Acting Chair of UK Financial Investments, the organisation created to manage the UK government’s investment in troubled banks.
Glen has previously held positions as a Senior Independent Director and Deputy Chair of Lloyds Banking Group plc, Deputy Chair of the Financial Reporting Council, Director of Grupo Prisa SA, and a Senior Advisor to HSBC Holdings plc. He was Senior Independent Director of Man Group plc and was involved in the successful demerger of Man’s traditional commodities-trading business to focus on financial services.
From 1987 to 1991 Glen was Chief Executive of Fidelity International Ltd, where he still serves as a Non-Executive Director. He led the company’s international expansion, including the launch of the hallmark global-product range, Fidelity Funds. Prior to Fidelity Glen had spent over 18 years with Citigroup Inc., holding senior positions in Europe and Asia.
