Bill Green has worked as Chair and CEO of S&P 100, public and private-sector companies, and has 35 years of senior-leadership experience and a vast wealth of multi-industry knowledge of consulting, education, engineering/manufacturing, financial services, government, healthcare, technology, aerospace and defence, private equity, and special-purpose acquisition companies.
Bill had a 35-year career at Accenture. He was on the Accenture Board from 2001 until 2013. He became the CEO of Accenture in 2004, Chair in 2010, and continued through his retirement in 2013. During his time as an Accenture leader, the company completed its journey to becoming a public company and implemented its long-term business strategy.
Bill is also a Board member at Dell Technologies, S&P Global, and Advisor360° (a provider of a unified, integrated software suite for wealth management), and Chair of BMC Software. He is also a Director of Year Up Inc., which helps young professionals learn new skills to launch their careers.
During his tenure as CEO and Chair at Accenture, the company doubled its revenue, doubled its workforce to 270,000 people, and built its global delivery model. Bill was ranked No.1 CEO by Institutional Investor in the Computer Services & IT Consulting sector during that time. He is well known for his focus on clients and people in his leadership roles.
