Henrik Poulsen has over 20 years of international senior-leadership experience as CEO and Chair, with deep expertise in finance, mergers and acquisitions, strategy, sales & marketing, ESG, transformation, and innovation.
Henrik is currently Chair of Carlsberg A/S and Faerch A/S, Deputy Chair of Novo-Nordisk A/S, and a member of the Novo Holdings Board. He also serves as a Senior Adviser to A.P. Møller Holding. Additionally, he is on the board of Bertelsmann SE.
Henrik began his career in various executive roles at LEGO and later joined Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. as an Operating Partner. He then became CEO and President at TDC, before joining Ørsted A/S as CEO and President from 2012 to 2021.
A Danish citizen, Henrik holds a MSc in Finance & Accounting and a BSc in International Business, both from Aarhus School of Business, Denmark.
