Tom is Chair of Wärtsilä OYJ, Chair of Combient AB and Interim Chair of Northvolt AB. He is an Independent Director of Investor AB. Previously, he was Chair of Husqvarna AB, Chair of the British-Swedish Chamber of Commerce and Board member of Volvo Car Corp.

Tom has held several management positions within the SKF Group. From 2003 to 2014, he was President and CEO of the group. During his tenure, SKF evolved into a knowledge engineering company. Global sales grew from some 42 BSEK to 71 BSEK, profitability doubled and had a TSR over the period of 400%. SKF’s leading performance in sustainability was recognised globally with its inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability and the FTSE4Good indices.
