Jim is Chair of Siemens AG, a Board member at C3.ai and a member of the Board of Trustees at the World Economic Forum. He is also an Adviser to Deutsche Bank AG. He was previously Chair of Northvolt AB and Vice Chair of Allianz SE. He was also Chair of A.P. Møller – Mærsk AS and is now Adviser to the Chair and Board of the company.

Jim is a Senior Adviser to Nordic Alpha Partners, Director of Temasek Europe, Advisory Council member of Cohesity Inc., and an Adjunct Professor at the Copenhagen Business School.

Jim is the former Co-CEO of SAP SE and has 25+ years of experience in the IT industry. He is focused on leadership around innovation and digitisation. In his capacity as a global business leader, Jim is involved in a number of activities focused on societal progress and the role of business in society.

Jim is the author of two books, “Dreams and Details”, which explores a new leadership model, and “Tech for Life”, focused on the responsible use of technology.
