Dame Anita was Chair of Croda International plc. until 2024 and served as Deputy Chair, Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Remuneration and Risk Committees at Lloyds Banking Group until 2020. Dame Anita has also held the positions of Chair of Victrex plc, Senior Independent Director at Aberdeen Asset Management plc and IMI plc, and Director at BHP and Northumbrian Water. Prior to this she was an Executive Director at Abbott Mead Vickers plc, Director of Corporate Development at WPP Group and held various strategy and investment roles at Royal Bank of Scotland and Scottish Provident in her early career.
