He is currently Chair of Air Canada, Zurich Cover-More, Big Bus Tour Group Holdings, and Cpuk Finance Ltd. He is an Independent Director at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd and CNH Industrial N.V., and an Advisor to EQT.

Vagn was previously Chair of Pantheon Infrastructure plc, Scandilines A/S., FLSmidth A/S., Zebra A/S. (Flying Tiger Copenhagen), TIA Technology A/S., SSP Group plc, and Scandic Hotels Group AB.

He began his career in aviation at Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) in 1984, rising over 17 years to Deputy CEO.
