He is currently Chair of Epiroc AB, the global mining and infrastructure equipment leader spun out from Atlas Copco. He was previously Chair of Ericsson AB, Electrolux AB Epiroc AB, and Piab AB. Former non-executive roles include SKF AB and Ipco AB. He is a longstanding Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.

In his prior executive career, he held various management roles at Tenneco Automotive Belgium, as well as at General Biscuit SA in Belgium
