Overview
Bill Green currently serves as Chair of BMC Software (since 2022), Independent Director of Dell Technologies (since 2016), Independent Director of S&P Global (since 2021), Advisor360° (since 2020), and is a committed Board Member of Year Up USA -bringing technology insight and governance depth across enterprise, financial services, and philanthropy.
Bill spent 35 years at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), where he rose from entry-level roles to CEO (2004-2010) and Executive Chair (2006-2013). He oversaw transformative growth: doubling revenues (from $13.7 billion to $21.6 billion), headcount (to over 210,000), and overseeing its separation from Andersen and IPO in 2001.
Since retiring from Accenture, he has become an influential board leader, chairing and advising firms across tech and finance. As Independent Director at Dell, he supports strategy, digital governance, and capital markets alignment.
He brings deep cross-sector expertise in:
