Claudio is currently Lead Independent Director at FTI Consulting, Inc., and Chair of CC & Soci S.r.l., the Milan-based private equity and advisory boutique he founded in 2007. He is also on the boards of Ferragamo Finanziaria the holding company of the Salvatore Ferragamo Group, Finarvedi, Italiana Petroli, and Salini Costruttori.

He was Chair of Advanced Accelerator Applications a European pharmaceuticals group founded in 2003 and acquired by Novartis for $3.9 billion in 2018. He was Chair of Salini Impregilo (now Webuild), guiding critical turnaround efforts at Italy’s leading infrastructure construction group. Claudio was Chair of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP), the €550bn government owned holding company for large industrial conglomerates such as ENI, SNAM, Fincantieri and Terna ,and CDP Equity. Here he played a strategic role in advancing Italy’s industrial development. He also co-founded and chaired REVO Insurance and Elba Assicurazioni, and was an Independent Director at Luxottica, Bulgari and Virgin Group.
