Sir Jeremy is best known for his tenure as Group CEO of Sky plc (2007-2021), where he transformed the company from a satellite broadcaster into Europe’s leading direct-to-consumer media and entertainment business. Under his leadership, Sky entered new markets including broadband, mobile and original content, and was ultimately acquired by Comcast in 2018 in a landmark £30 billion deal—one of the most significant media transactions in European history.

Before Sky, he served as Group Finance Director of DSG International (now Currys plc) and began his career at Procter & Gamble (1988-1999), where he held a range of senior commercial and financial roles in the UK and Europe.

He has also previously served as Senior Independent Director at Burberry and as a Non-Executive Director at Marks & Spencer.
