Wendy Becker is a highly experienced leader with a wealth of expertise spanning the consumer goods, fashion, technology, health care, telecommunications and consulting sectors. Wendy currently serves as Independent Chair of Logitech International, Independent Vice Chair of Sony Group Corp and she is a Non-Executive Director of GlaxoSmithKline plc and Oxford University Press. Wendy is also a Trustee of the University of Oxford. Wendy’s distinguished career began in brand management at Procter & Gamble, followed by 15 years at McKinsey, where she became a partner and led the Consumer and Retail practice across Europe. She then transitioned to Vodafone, serving as Group Chief Marketing Officer, before being appointed COO and subsequently CEO of fashion retailer Jack Wills.
Wendy has previously been Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of companies such as Whitbread plc, Ocado plc, Great Portland Estates plc and Oxford Nanopore Technologies plc. Her vast experience across industries and her global perspective make her a respected figure in both the corporate and academic worlds. She has also contributed significantly to the charity sector as a leader within the Cancer Research UK, Prince’s Trust, Design Museum, and British Heart Foundation boards.
